Hungarian-born Erno Goldfinger moved to the UK in the early 1930s and established one of the most significant and influential modernist practices of the period. Significant projects include his own home at Willow Road, Hampstead, London (1939), together with Balfron Tower (1967) and Trellick Tower (1972).
