Northern Polytechnic, London

The Northern Polytechnic Institute was founded in Holloway, London, in 1896. In 1971 it merged with the North-West Polytechnic to form the Polytechnic of North London, subsequently becoming the University of North London in 1992. Following a 2002 merger with London Guildhall University, it now exists as the London Metropolitan University.
